The Knights were able to capture the consolation game on Saturday from North Miami 7-3. Offensively, the Knights got 8 hits led by Carson Rich going 3 for 4 with 3 base hits, a stolen base and an RBI. James Kelley was 1 for 1 with a base hit and a sacrifice fly batting in a run. Gabe Lloyd was 1 for 2 with a triple and two runs scored. Mason Yentes was 1 for 4 with 3 stolen bases and 3 runs scored. Rounding out the offense was Alex Farr, who was 1 for 1 with 2 RBIs. Clayton Wells took the mound for the Knights and earned the win. Clayton went 5 1/3 innings allowing 3 runs (2 earned) on 5 hits while striking out 4 and walking 4. Lucas Topliff entered the game and earned the save, going 1 2/3 innings allowing no runs on 2 hits, striking out 2 batters and not allowing a base on balls. The Knights will go back on the road Monday for a county conference matchup against Wabash.
