Knight Netters Notch Road Net Win

The Southwood Varsity Tennis Team posted a 5 – 0 win at Tippecanoe Valley last night.  The win pushed the netters record to 5 and 6 overall and 3 and 2 in the TRC.  The victory was Coach Rod Cole’s 190th in 25 seasons. Sarah Peters posted a 7-5, 6-3 win at # 1 singles.

The IHSAA Sectional # 37 Softball draw has been released: Monday, May 26   Game 1 (5:00 PM):  Cass vs Northfield                                                                    

Three Rivers Conference Awards Luncheon

Three Southwood  Knight Seniors were recognized at today’s Three Rivers Conference Awards Luncheon which was held at the Honeywell Center in Wabash.  Amy Bowman, Zach Hobson and Brett Wyatt were recognized for their academic and athletic achievements. Zach Hobson was a recipient of the TRC Distinguished Academic Honor Award  which is presented to a student-athlete


  The Southwood Varsity Tennis squad grabbed a big TRC road win at Rochester on Monday night, (5/12/14), 4 – 1.  # 1 singles, Sarah Peters was a three-set winner; # 3 singles Emma Flynn was a winner; # 1 doubles Caitlyn Charles and Ashley Hunt had a two set win and # 2 doubles,


The Southwood Varsity Softball Team notched a 12 – 2 win over visiting Wabash in Three Rivers Conference Softball action at Southwood Elementary on Monday, May 12, 2014. The “Diamond Knights” banged out 9 hits and played error free softball. “We had our first errorless game and put the ball in play to score runs.

Varsity Baseball Beats Wabash

The varsity baseball team was victorious last night with a 12-1 win against the Wabash Apaches.  The Knights had a big 2nd inning, scoring 5 runs.  Clay Hinrichsen went the distance on the mound.  Aaron Kelly had a 3-run homerun and Jackson Blair had 3 hits to lead the offense.  The team is now 14-4
